We are so excited that you're interested in being part of the Waterloo Salsa & Bachata Festival!
The main focus of this 3 day festival is to celebrate community, talent, passion, and culture- and we can’t wait to see what you bring to the stage.
Please follow the steps below to submit your request:
Step 1.
Gather Your Team Information
The team point of contact must fill out the team performance request form below by May 19th.
Please ensure your video file name follows the correct format based on your category:

Teams ( 3+ dancers): dance company, team name, genre. I.e. Underdogdance_AmateurTeam_Salsa

Duos: both dancers’ names and genre.I.e. Emily_Jorge_Bachata

Solos: first and last name and genre. I.e. Phil_Roy_Salsa
Your performance/rehearsal video can be taken with your phone, and does not need to be professional or perfect.We simply want to see the size of the team, the genre of dance, and the song choice to best determine the flow of each show
Step 2.
Submit request
We will be communicating with the team point of contact.
Once you’ve gathered everything, send your complete submission for our team to review. Incomplete submissions may delay review, so please double-check that all details are included before sending.
Step 3.
Confirmation of Acceptance & Performance pass purchase
Our team will reach out within 2 weeks to confirm if your submission was accepted.
We'll also send the following information:

A form to submit each performer Full Name and e-mail address.

The assigned performance date

Event details and performance guidelines
Please remember spots are limited for each night.
After confirmation, each dancer must buy their performance pass online (here)
Step 4.
Music File Submission
Submit your Music in advance for each confirmed performance you have by May 19th.
Ensure your music file name follows the correct format based on your category:
